Public Transportation Committee

Purpose

To study transit needs and problems, including funding.


History & Background

This Committee consists of 4 City Commissioners and the Transit Manager, who is an ex-officio member. During budget discussions in 1987, the Commission decided to study transit needs and problems, including funding, and to explore alternative solutions, and created the Committee for this purpose in July of that year. This committee now meets as needed to study transit needs and problems, including funding.
