BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City crews will begin chip sealing Kendall Street later this week.
Work is scheduled to start Wednesday, Sept. 25. Crews will apply emulsion and trap rock between Dickman Road and W. Michigan Ave., followed by fog sealing on Friday, Sept. 27.
The Department of Public Works, located at 150 S. Kendall Street, will remain open during road construction activities that will be underway Sept. 25-28. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. DPW employees and visitors entering the parking lot may experience delays due to the incoming and outgoing city fleet vehicle traffic.
The road will remain open, and traffic control measures will be in place. However, drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes to avoid delays.
