BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A 30-year-old man is in stable condition after a domestic argument turned physical shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2.
Battle Creek Police were dispatched to an apartment in the 5200 block of Horizon Drive, where they found the victim with a stab wound below his right chest. Officers were informed the suspect, the victim’s 21-year-old girlfriend, had fled the scene. The suspect was located a short time later at a different residence where she was arrested and transported to the Calhoun County Jail.
The Battle Creek Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance treated the victim before he was transported to a local hospital.
