BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City contractor crews will wrap up final restoration work, from last year’s water main project, resulting in temporary lane shifts and closures along Beckley Road beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17.
The area of Beckley Road impacted by these temporary lane shifts and closures includes:
- Beckley Road, between Helmer Road South and Minges Road South
There are no expected complete road closures during this restoration work.
The final restoration work will include both shoulder work, along the sides of Beckley Road in this area, and curb lawn restoration. This work is the final part of last year’s water main project that installed new water main access to neighbors living along Beckley, from Helmer Road South to Minges Road South.
Crews will generally be working from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday during the project. Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, April 17, and is expected to be wrapped up in no more than two weeks, by Wednesday, May 1, dependent on any weather-related delays.
