The City of Battle Creek is participating in holiday toy collections again this year, and we invite the community to join us in helping support local organizations and local children.

All of these collections accept donations of new, unwrapped toys.

  • Battle Creek Fire Department stations are accepting toy donations now to support The Salvation Army. You can drop off toys at Station 1 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Stations 2-6 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. now through Thursday, Dec. 14:

    • Station 1 – 195 E. Michigan Ave.
    • Station 2 – 145 N. Washington Ave.
    • Station 3 – 222 Cliff St.
    • Station 4 – 8 S. 20th St.
    • Station 5 – 1170 W. Michigan Ave.
    • Station 6 – 2401 Capital Ave. SW
  • Battle Creek Police are teaming up with the Marine Corps Reserve to host their annual Stuff-a-Truck event for Toys for Tots. This event is set for 5-7 p.m. next Tuesday, Dec. 5 on North Division Street, near Commerce Pointe, across from City Hall and the Police Department. Look for the large SWAT truck!
  • We also have a Toys for Tots collection box near the elevator on the first floor of City Hall, 10 N. Division St.

Anyone more comfortable making a financial donation can do so directly online: For Toys for Tots, visit https://secure.toysfortots.org/a/donatetoday; and for The Salvation Army visit https://centralusa.salvationarmy.org/BattleCreek/.

Thank you for helping us support these efforts in our Battle Creek community!
