Three people were injured after a two-car accident that damaged a home Wednesday afternoon.
Battle Creek Fire and Battle Creek Police responded to the crash at about 1 p.m. in the area of West Manchester Street and North Kendall Street. Fire Rescue 2, Engine 5, Truck 1, and Car 3 responded.
Police determined one car was driving south on Kendall, and was hit by a car driving east on Manchester that failed to stop at a stop sign. One vehicle hit the side porch of a home near the crash and was smoking from the engine, with a small fire. BCFD extinguished that fire.
Two LifeCare ambulances responded to provide medical attention, and the three people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The house did not catch fire, and had minor damage from the crash. No one inside the home was injured.
