[ARCHIVED] 44yo Battle Creek man in stable condition following early Wednesday morning shooting on Ardmoor Dr.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – A 44-year-old Battle Creek man is in stable condition following a shooting incident on Ardmoor Drive, in Bedford Township, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 30.

Battle Creek Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of Ardmoor Drive, in Bedford Township, shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday, April 30.

Upon their arrival, officers located a 44-year-old Battle Creek man in his vehicle. The victim appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound to his right thigh and an injury to his head. He was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

This shooting incident is still under investigation by the BCPD. Any neighbors who may have information related to this incident should contact the BCPD at, 269-781-0911, or Silent Observer at, 269-964-3888.

The BCPD was assisted in responding to this incident by the Bedford Township Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance.
