BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City contractors will resume lead service line replacement work next week.
Temporary road closures will be in place on the following days and locations:
- Monday, March 17: 200 block of McKinley Avenue North
- Tuesday, March 18: Bidwell Street West, between Bechman Avenue North and Fairhome Avenue
Work is set to begin at 8 a.m. and be completed by the end of the day. Temporary water shutoffs will only impact residences undergoing the line replacement.
During the replacement of the lead service lines, temporary road closures and lane shifts are expected, so neighbors are reminded to be aware of crews and equipment in work areas.
