BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The Battle Creek Police Department responded to a report of a gunshot in the first block of Risa Drive shortly after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26. The shot penetrated the front door of a residence occupied by a 25-year-old male.
Upon their arrival, officers located a single shell casing in the front yard. The resident, who was home alone at the time, was not injured.
The BCPD believes this is an isolated incident and does not pose a threat to the public.
