BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Battle Creek police responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the 70th block of Fountain Street at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9.
At the scene, police found a 27-year-old Battle Creek man inside an apartment building with a gunshot wound. LifeCare Ambulance transported the victim to Bronson Kalamazoo Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing, but police believe there is no threat to the public. Anyone with information is urged to contact Calhoun County Dispatch or Silent Observer.
