Other information: The Battle Creek Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment fire at 5280 Sundance Court. Rescue 6 arrived to find nothing showing from the outside of the apartment building. Upon entry, crews found a bathroom exhaust fan was on fire, which was catching the ceiling insulation on fire.
The fire was quickly extinguished. Due to the quick response and actions, damage was minimized to the bathroom. Engine 3 assisted with overhaul. The cause of the fire was a faulty exhaust fan. No injuries were reported.
