A 23-year-old Lansing man is in the Calhoun County Jail related to the Jan. 12 murder of Battle Creek man Israel Temple.
Battle Creek Police identified the suspect during their investigation, then located and arrested him in Lansing today - Friday, Jan. 19. Tri-County Metro Narcotics and the Lansing Violent Crimes Initiative Unit assisted.
The Lansing man was jailed on felony murder and weapons charges. Police expect his arraignment next week.
The Kalamazoo Township Police Department and Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team also assisted during this investigation.
