This is a reminder of our city recycling events set for tomorrow - Saturday, Sept. 9 - with the addition of a road closure in front of our Department of Public Works on Kendall Street.
Northbound South Kendall will be closed to traffic from Grand Trunk Avenue to Lafayette Street from about 10 a.m. until about 2 p.m. tomorrow to create a better traffic flow for our electronics and scrap tire recycling event.
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Department of Public Works is at 150 S. Kendall St.
The closure means that people bringing recyclable items to this event must enter the Public Works parking lot from southbound South Kendall Street.
Volunteers will help guide neighbors through the event. More information about acceptable items is on the attached images.
