Other information: BCFD was dispatched to a structure fire at 91 Vale Street around 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15. Engine 3, Car 3, and Engine 1 arrived on scene to discover smoke coming from the rear of a single-story home. Attack lines were deployed, a primary search was conducted, and a water supply was established. Rescue 4 and Engine 5 assisted the attack crews, and Rescue 6 assumed safety. No occupants were in the home at the time of the fire. Crews were on scene for over an hour. The fire marshal and fire inspector are investigating the incident at this time.
