Other information: The Battle Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 94 Cliff St. Rescue 3 and Car 3 arrived within two minutes to find smoke showing from the second floor of the structure. Rescue 3 and Truck 1 made a quick interior attack on a second-floor kitchen fire. All occupants had exited prior to arrival. Engine 2 and Squad 2 assisted with support functions. The fire was determined to be caused by unattended cooking.
