Water main work on Helmer Rd. N/ Cañerías Principales 

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — a water main break on N. Helmer Rd. at 6^th Ave. will cause a lane closure and may cause a temporary water shutoff this evening.

Crews will be repairing a water main break on N. Helmer Rd. at 6^th Ave. beginning at 10 p.m. tonight.   This work may require a temporary water shutoff this evening from 11:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.

During this work, a lane closure will be in place for northbound traffic on Helmer Rd. N.

Should a water shutoff be necessary, city neighbors in this area should be prepared to be without water and for a potential boil water advisory when service returns. Additional information will be made available to the media, and through the city’s website and social media, should it become necessary.
