City residents are invited on Thursday, Feb. 18 to talk about their vision for Battle Creek, including projects and programs that would most benefit the community.
The Visioning Workshop is the next public opportunity for community members to gather and discuss information that will help develop the city’s Master Plan update. The workshop will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Kool Family Community Center, 200 W. Michigan Ave.
All are invited to attend and help shape a vision for Battle Creek’s future.
The Master Plan serves as the city’s official guide for land use, development and sustainability over the next 10 to 20 years. Ultimately, the plan will answer what the City of Battle Creek should look like in that time period, as well as how we get there. The plan will include an implementation strategy to help administer the plan and follow up on its recommendations.
