As Battle Creek Police Department staff make the move into the new building, at 34 N. Division St., some service changes will be in place next week.
Staff will make the transition to the new building all week, Aug. 13-17.
The Records Division will be completely closed Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 13 and 14. This means accident reports, concealed weapon permits, arrest record checks, gun permits, and similar services will not be available on these days. To see all Records Division services, check the web page, battlecreekmi.gov/261/Records-Division.
There will be no fingerprinting services available the entire week, Aug. 13-17. The regular service schedule will resume on Monday, Aug. 20. Regular fingerprinting hours are 3-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Police Department staff expect the Records Division, and the public front desk, to open to the public at the new facility on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Officials appreciate everyone’s patience as we make the transition into the new Battle Creek Police Department headquarters. We look forward to serving you at 34 N. Division St.!
