The 18-person committee tasked with considering potential changes to the city charter will meet for the first time on Feb. 7.
The Blue Ribbon Advisory Committee was established Jan. 2 by the City Commission, with members appointed Jan. 16. Each commissioner submitted two members for appointment.

The committee’s first meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at the city’s Department of Public Works, 150 S. Kendall St. This meeting is open to the public.
