Brian Zanetti, who Battle Creek Police named a person of interest to be questioned in Friday's shooting in Urbandale that killed Frank Zanetti, was located and is being questioned in Illinois.
Brian Zanetti was located by Illinois police while working in conjuction with Battle Creek City Police detectives. Brian was arrested by Illinois police on unrelated charges out of the State of Illinois.
Brian Zanetti, a relative of Frank Zanetti, is being questioned now by Illinois authorities, in cooperation with Battle Creek Police detectives.
Frank Zanetti, 63, was killed at approximately 10:30 Friday morning when an unknown suspect shot him at his business, Battle Creek Tile and Mosaic, on West Michigan Avenue.
This incident remains under investigation. The suspect remains at large. He is a short, white man, approximately 5'6" to 5'8" tall, wearing jeans and a blue, pastel hoodie. He covered his face with a bandana.
Police believe this was an isolated incident. If anyone in the community has any additional information or sees someone matching the suspect's description, please do not approach him, and call 911.
