[ARCHIVED] City voters in Pennfield, Climax to move polling locations

City voters who live in the Pennfield and Climax-Scotts school districts are reminded that – for the May 2 election only – they will vote at different polling locations than usual.


Pennfield Charter Township will facilitate that school district’s special election, and Climax Township will facilitate the Kalamazoo Regional Education Service bond proposal for that district.


Voters in these areas already should have received postcards notifying them of these changes.


Climax

For the May 2 election only, City of Battle Creek voters in the Climax-Scotts Community Schools district will vote at the Climax Township Hall, 110 N. Main St., Climax.


Climax-Scotts voters in the city normally vote in Precinct 20, First Wesleyan Church.


For an Absentee Voter ballot, contact Climax Township Clerk Marcia Lewis at 269-746-4103.


Pennfield

For the May 2 election only, City of Battle Creek voters in the Pennfield Schools district will vote at Calvary Baptist Church, 1625 Capital Ave. NE, Battle Creek.


Pennfield voters in the city normally vote in Precinct 15, Emmett Street Missionary Church.


For an Absentee Voter ballot, contact Pennfield Charter Township Clerk Kathy Case at 269-968-8549.

 

Polls are open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To view the language on the May 2 ballots, visit www.co.calhoun.mi.us.
