In what will now be an annual event, Mayor Dave Walters will give a State of the City address at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

The Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce will host the event, which is free and open the public, at the Kool Family Community Center, 200 W. Michigan Ave. Breakfast will be served, and the Chamber requests that those attending RSVP, at 269-962-4076.

Mayor Walters will update the community on the city’s accomplishments and foundation building in 2016, as well as what’s planned to build on those activities in 2017.

Please join city officials, staff and other community members to discuss and celebrate where we were in 2016 and where we’re going this year!
