[ARCHIVED] BCPD to participate in National Night Out

National Night Out logo

The Battle Creek Police Department and other area law enforcement agencies will, once again, participate in a local National Night Out event.

Our local, family-friendly and free event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. next Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Mill Race Park, at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Capital Avenue SW.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign from the National Association of Town Watch, which promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our communities safer, better places to live. Events take place nationwide the first Tuesday in August.

The Battle Creek Police Department will bring their K-9 partners, bomb robot, vehicles and more. We invite you to bring the entire family for games, food and fun!

Along with law enforcement agencies, other community organizations will participate. We hope to see you there!
