BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Crews will be making railroad crossing repairs that will result in the temporary closure of part of McCamly Street beginning Wednesday, May 10.
The specific section of McCamly Street affected by this temporary closure is:
- McCamly Street South, between Houston Street and Liberty Street
All traffic is impacted by this temporary closure and motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around this section of McCamly Street South.
Neighbors traveling to and from the Battle Creek Transportation Center, located at 119 McCamly St. S., will still be able to utilize both Amtrak train and bus services as usual, including accessing the entrance on McCamly Street South, during this work. Neighbors are reminded to be aware of crews and equipment in the area.
This temporary closure is in place until further notice, as the railroad crossing repair work continues.
