[ARCHIVED] Police look for information in Howland Street shooting

Battle Creek Police are looking for any information that might help in their investigation of a shooting on Howland Street early this morning. 

At about 3:25 a.m. a neighbor in the 200 block of Howland called 911 about a person who was shot. Police responded to a home and found a 45-year-old woman who was shot multiple times. 

The Battle Creek Fire Department and LifeCare ambulance arrived and provided medical assistance to the woman, before taking her to a local hospital for treatment. She is in stable condition. 

Police ask anyone who might have been in the area at this time, and may have information that would help them investigate, to please call police at 269-966-3322 or anonymously through Silent Observer at 269-964-3888.
