BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A city contractor will be completing both milling and paving projects on several roadways tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 5.

The following four roadways are scheduled for milling:

  • Highland Avenue, from W. Territorial Road to W. Columbia Avenue
  • The entire length of Honey Lane
  • The entire length of Kelwood Lane
  • 6th Avenue, west of S. Helmer Road to the end of the road

Three roadways will be paved along their entire length and include:

  • Convis Street
  • Sanderson Street
  • Woodward Avenue

Work hours on both the milling and paving projects will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

During all of these projects, all roadways will remain OPEN to traffic and neighbors will have access to their driveways, however there will be minor disruptions to motorists and neighbors as the milling and paving crews make their way along each street.

Additionally, neighbors are asked to NOT park along the above-mentioned roadways, so that the milling and paving projects can be completed.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during all work on our city’s infrastructure.
