BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A city contractor will be milling several roads next week, as part of ongoing infrastructure work in the city, beginning Monday, Sept. 26.

The roads that will undergo milling include:

  • Pleasantview Drive, from Orchard Avenue to East Avenue N.
  • The entire length of Convis Street
  • The entire length of Sanderson Street
  • The entire length of Woodward Avenue

Work hours during the milling projects will be from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

All of the above-mentioned roads will be OPEN to traffic and neighbors will have access to their driveways, however neighbors are asked to NOT park on the road to allow the milling projects to proceed. As always, neighbors and motorists are encouraged to be cautious of work crews and equipment in all work zones.

The milling projects will remove the current surface of the roads to allow for future paving of new road surfaces.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during all work on our city’s infrastructure.
