[ARCHIVED] City contractors to paint street markings during rest of summer

Rural road in autumn with trees on both sides, no cars.

City contractors started today with painting pavement markings on most streets across the city.

Painting work will happen between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Contactors will finish this work later this summer, weather permitting.

As they paint, roads will remain open to cars and pedestrians. However, you may see temporary lane shifts, and temporary traffic lane closures might disrupt travel for short periods.

The painting will include markings like the long lines on a street, and special markings like arrows.

Thanks for your patience during this work, which improves our city.
