[ARCHIVED] City Hall, Police Department return to regular building hours

CityHall1

Our City Hall and Police Department return this week to our previous regular open hours, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and, in turn, the Calhoun County Public Health Department, have loosened COVID-19 protocols as hospitalizations and positive cases decrease.

City Hall and the Police Department return to 8 a.m.-5 p.m. open hours Monday through Friday.

At the Police Department, the Records Division is open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. (regular hours), and fingerprinting services will be available again, from 2-4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Other city buildings already have operated with their typical public hours.

Find the CDC’s current COVID-19 guidance at cdc.gov/coronavirus. To see Calhoun County’s community COVID-19 level, and the accompanying face mask recommendations, scroll to Cases & Data partway down that page. For current local COVID-19 information, visit calhouncountymi.gov/covid and battlecreekmi.gov/coronavirus.

Note that the CDC and local numbers are not always the same, as they may not use the same data points at the same time.
