Traffic Signal Replacement Project continues

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – On Monday, September 13, the traffic signal replacement project work will continue at the intersection of Capital Avenue/Van Buren Street.

Strain Electric will begin the process of replacing traffic signal infrastructure at the intersection of Capital Avenue/Van Buren Street on Monday.  At times during this work, motorist should expect lane closures.

 Additionally, pedestrians should be advised that the sidewalks at the intersection will be closed for the duration of the work.  A detour will be provided for pedestrians. 

This project is expected to be completed by November, weather permitting

Motorists should anticipate possible traffic delays and are advised to seek alternate routes.
