JARC SERVICE CHANGE
On February 4, 2014 at the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting, the City Commission unanimously voted to eliminate the Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) service to Harper Creek Village and one night Tele-Transit van effective end of day February 14, 2014. This elimination of service is due to the restructure of Federal funding for this project. BCT is happy to announce that effective February 17, 2014 it will increase service
on the SW Capital route to continue limited service to Walmart and Meijer.
BCT will be implementing the following changes February 17, 2014
- Eliminate the Express Service
- Eliminate the Circulator Service
- Eliminate 1 night van
- Increase service on the SW Capital route to provide
- Service to Harper Creek Village 4 times a day (Meijer & Walmart)
- Monday – Friday, on the 8:15 a.m. , 10:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. trips
- Saturday, on the 10:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. trips

5W FORT CUSTER/VA HOSPITAL ROUTE CHANGE
BCT will be implementing the following change on February 17, 2014 on the Fort Custer/VA Hospital route.
We will no longer service Hill Brady NORTH of Dickman Road. This affects the route as follows:
The 5:45 a.m. Express trip leaving the Bus Transfer Station at 45 minutes past the hour will no longer service the two stops on Hill Brady Avenue NORTH of Dickman Road (these stops will be removed).
No Changes – the route remains as published.
UPCOMING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
Friday, April 18 - Battle Creek Transit Administrative Office will be closed for Good Friday. Buses and Tele-Transit WILL run.
