    Join the crew from Fire Station 3 and Neighborhood Planning Council 1 to officially welcome the new Rescue 3 into service in the Post Franklin neighborhood. A traditional ceremony to put the vehicle into service will begin at 2 p.m. Chat with the Station 3 crew, enjoy refreshments and check out this historic fire station. The ceremony will include a blessing of the truck and a “push into service” as it backs into the garage.

    Bag leaves in paper bags - leaf bags for specifically designed for this purpose are sold in most area grocery stores - or place them in a container clearly marked "yard waste." Each container cannot exceed 50 pounds in weight. Waste Management will haul them away along with your regular trash. No plastic bags, please. Please note that this is for city residents only.
