Once scheduled, you need to come to City Hall - Room 104. View an online map if you are not sure where to find us. Be sure and bring State Tax Commission Board of Review Petitioner L4035 (Form 618), link available below.
Are not required, but we ask you to discuss your value changes with a staff member before coming to the Board of Review. This allows us to exchange information and explain how your estimate was determined.
Appeal by Letter
Since the City Commission adopted Resolution # 99 in January 1992, both residents and nonresidents may appeal by letter. Appeal letters must be received in the Assessor’s Office by NOON March 11, 2021. Letter appeals are to be accompanied by a completed Board of Review Petition L-4035 (Form 618). (see Forms Needed as previously mentioned).
