PUBLIC NOTICE

City of Battle Creek/Battle Creek Transit Proposed Applications for State of Michigan Financial Assistance

​ All citizens are advised that the City of Battle Creek/Battle Creek Transit has prepared applications for State of Michigan financial assistance for FY 2021 (October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2021) as required under Act 51 of the Public Acts of 1951, as amended, for Federal assistance as required under the Federal Transit Act, as amended.

​ The City of Battle Creek/Battle Creek Transit is requesting the following funds:

​ The proposed applications are on file at Battle Creek Transit, 339 West Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek 49037, and may be reviewed during a 30-day period, January 6, 2020 through February 4, 2020, between the hours of 8:00 am to noon – 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

​ Written comments regarding the applications and or written requests for a public hearing to review the application must be received by Mallory Avis, at the address shown above or emailed to mravis@battlecreekmi.gov and received no later than February 4, 2020. If a hearing is requested, notice of the scheduled date, time, and location will provided at least 10 days in advance.
