Battle Creek Transit (BCT) gives notice of a proposed fare increase to be effective July 1, 2020.  BCT has operated under the same fare structure since 2003.  This proposed increase takes into consideration the increasing operational expenses over the last 17 years.  The following chart outlines the proposed changes:

The Battle Creek City Commission held a public hearing March 17, 2020 on behalf of Battle Creek Transit to receive comments regarding the proposed fare increase. 

​The Commission is expected to vote on this at their meeting on April 21, 2020.
