Every three years, the City of Battle Creek conducts a community survey to better understand residents’ priorities and experiences with city services. City Commissioners and staff use this feedback to guide long-term planning, goal setting, and policy development.
2025 National Community Survey
In summer 2025, Battle Creek collected 628 community survey responses using both random sampling and open participation. With a 22% response rate and a ±3.9% margin of error, the results were weighted to reflect the city’s adult population and provide a reliable snapshot of resident opinions.
